Kathryn A. McDermott, Account Executive

Kathryn A. McDermott is a senior account executive with responsibility for clients in the financial, healthcare, chemical and technology industries. Prior to joining Anne Klein Communications Group, Kate served with Warner Advanced Multimedia Operations, a division of AOL Time-Warner, in the graphics design department. She also gained experience in media relations and sponsorships while organizing several fundraising events for the National Kidney Foundation. Previously, Kate worked in customer relations for First National Community Bank in Pennsylvania.

Kate graduated cum laude from Temple University, where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism, public relations and advertising. As an undergraduate, she served on the Temple Student Government’s allocations board and was an active member of the Golden Key International Honor Society. In addition, she helped to establish the first Order of Omega Honor Society chapter on campus. She is a member of The Philadelphia Public Relations Association.
